And once again: Our team used the big stage of this cross-border cycling event for great performances and lots of new experiences: Emanuel Zangerle conquered the red sprint jersey for one stage. Florian Lipowitz climbed wheel to wheel with the absolute best in the world and, after technical problems on the last stage, finished 25th in the GC and seventh in the junior classification. Strong also Felix Engelhardt and Logan Mclain, both also with technical difficulties on the challenging and cold and wet stage around Lienz, as well as the ex-WorldTour ridKarel Vacek. And every day Linus Rosner and eighteen-year-old Moritz Hörandtner showed a great heart as a fighter. A small downer: Zangerle unfortunately had to end the fifth stage prematurely due to illness.
