Gerlosberg in the Zillertal: 6 km. 600 meters in altitude. A race with a lot of tradition and at the same time also Tyrolean mountain championships. Florian Lipowitz, Emanuel Zangerle and Florian Gamper also used the event as a simulation for a longer race or a stage with a mountain finish and previously completed a four-hour training lap with an altitude of 2,000 meters. They arrived in Zell a few minutes before the start, quickly assembled the numbers and off we went. Conclusion: Lipowitz, based in Seefeld, won with a new course record of 21:58 seconds and was thus also crowned Tyrolean champion. A big thank you also to the ARBĂ– Raiffeisen Radteam Zillertal that the club carried out the race in these difficult and challenging times. Chapeau!
