It was the expected difficult race, the classic “Fleche Ardennaise” for U23 teams over 165.9 kilometers and 3,500 meters in altitude and with a top international and Belgian line-up. 160 riders at the start, 101 at the finish in Stavelot. Felix Engelhardt drove a good race and finished in 24th place. Another test of talent by the young Moritz Hörnandtner, who was in the peloton with Engelhardt until shortly before the finish line.
